At MGM, environmental sustainability is an integral component of our business strategy. The ISO 14001:2015 certification obtained by our Rekord manufacturing operation plays a crucial role in this commitment, providing a rigorous framework for managing and continuously improving our environmental impact.

This international certification helps us identify, control and monitor the environmental impacts of our operations, ensuring a systematic approach to achieving and maintaining compliance with environmental laws and our sustainability goals.

The adoption of the ISO 14001:2015 standard is a demonstration of our commitment to operating responsibly, reducing the impacts of production on the planet and continuously improving our environmental practices. This not only strengthens the trust of our stakeholders, but also contributes to a vision of long-term sustainable development.

At Rekord, we firmly believe that sustainability should be at the core of all our production choices. That is why we decided to adopt an approach that minimizes environmental impact by fully integrating circular economy principles into our production process.

We use only hides derived from the food industry, ensuring that no resources are wasted. This choice reflects our commitment to “leave no trace,” valuing each raw material and transforming it into high-quality footwear that not only lasts, but is also an expression of a responsible production cycle.

Our vision goes beyond footwear production: we aim to protect our planet by reducing waste and maximizing resource recovery. Through these practices, we are actively engaged in promoting a more sustainable future, demonstrating that it is possible to combine excellence in craftsmanship and respect for the environment.

Rekord has adopted the “leave no trace” principle in its environmental efforts, implementing solar panels for energy self-sufficient and sustainable production. This initiative reflects our desire to minimize environmental impact by ensuring that production activities are as sustainable as possible.

We have installed 5472 square meters of solar panels in our facilities. This choice allows the production process to be powered by clean energy, significantly reducing the company’s Carbon Footprint.
